June 18, 2008 - The Detroit River International Crossing study team announced the Technically and Environmentally Preferred location of the new international bridge and inspection plaza.
May 1, 2008 - The Detroit River International Crossing (DRIC) study team announced the Technically and Environmentally Preferred Alternative for an access road extending Highway 401 to a new inspection plaza and international crossing leading to Interstate 75 in Michigan. The plaza and crossing locations will be announced later this spring.
